About ComeBy:
ComeBy is a retail SaaS platform that provides real-time, personalized shopper experiences to retailers through the use of in-store data. Our goal is to increase customer loyalty, identify shopping trends, and optimize store operations, ultimately leading to increased sales.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly creative and data-driven individual to take ownership of telling stories with data for ComeBy. The Data Storyteller will be responsible for turning complex data sets into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives that engage and inform stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret large data sets to identify key insights and trends
- Translate data into clear, concise, and impactful visualizations and presentations
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a variety of formats, including presentations, reports, and interactive dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies and solutions
- Develop and maintain a library of data stories that showcase the impact of ComeBy’s solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data storytelling and visualization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis and storytelling, preferably in a retail or B2B technology environment
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills, with a deep understanding of data-driven storytelling principles and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging manner
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, and Python, as well as visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
- Familiarity with data analytics tools available on AWS such as Amazon QuickSight, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, and AWS Glue
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for retail and a drive to help retailers make data-driven decisions
